Skilling Solutions Queensland team members:

Linda Bradley - Director

Linda BradleyLinda has had nine years experience in the Vocational Education Training environment most recently as Marketing and Product Development Manager at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE and prior to that as Associate Dean of a private training College. Formally held senior Management roles in the Tourism industry throughout Australian and several overseas posting. Linda brings to Skilling Solutions Queensland a passion for Vocational Education and high standards in customer service.


Peita Bamford - Executive Officer

Peita LavisPeita Bamford has been with the Department of Education and Training since 2007, previously working in VET Resource Management as a Project Finance Officer. Prior to this, Peita worked in private and publicly listed companies in Financial, Administration and Human Resources roles.


Kelly Shead - Training and Development Officer

Kelly SheadKelly Shead has been leading teams in the customer service environment for over seven years with the Department of Education and Training. She has a background in psychology and is especially keen to contribute to the success of Skilling Solutions Queensland.


Callie Evans - Stakeholder Relationship Officer

Callie EvansCallie Evans commenced employment with the Department of Employment and Training as a trainee in 1999. Prior to joining the Skilling Solutions Queensland team, Callie worked at both the Open Learning and Yeronga Institutes of TAFE. Roles included Administration Officer, Customer Care Officer, Business Development Officer and Manager Customer Service Centre.


Michelle Newton, A/Team Leader - Bundaberg Customer Service Centre

Michelle Newton

Michelle worked in the Community Sector as a Project Officer, managing mature-aged and work for the dole programs before joining SSQ in 2007. Her working life has revolved around customer service and administrative management roles, in a number of industries including fashion, aged care and transport plus owning a successful small business in hospitality. Working alongside a committed Bundaberg team, Michelle looks forward to continuing to assist the Wide Bay community through training and education opportunities. She feels there is no greater pleasure than a customer calling into the centre to inform us that they have gained a qualification or employment or simply to thank us for helping them embark on a road to achieving their goals.

Katrina Cooley, Team Leader - Capalaba Customer Service Centre

Katrina Cooley Katrina has 29 years experience in the Customer Service Industry. During this time her experience expanded into Human Resourcing, Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Event Planning and Project Management. Since joining Skilling Solutions Queensland, Katrina is driven by the vision of the Q2 Target and believes the service we provide is fulfilling and compared to no other.

 

Gayle Kruger, Team Leader - Cairns Customer Service Centre

Gayle KrugerGayle Kruger has been leading teams in the customer service environment for over 13 years with Telstra, Tropical North Queensland TAFE and Queensland Health. She has a background in change management and is very keen to contribute to the skills and knowledge of north queenslanders to ensure that the region continues to prosper and grow from the services provided by Skilling Solutions Queensland. Gayle's roles at TAFE have given her a wealth of knowledge of the requirements of the VET sector and the many and varied training packages available for our customers. 

Ian Cook, Team Leader - Chermside Customer Service Centre

Ian Cook Ian commenced with Skilling Solutions Queensland in May 2006, as Team Leader at the Townsville Customer Service Centrethen moving to the Chermside Customer Service Centre in February 2007. Ian has a varied career background across customer service, education, training and business areas.He has a passion for providing excellent customer service and for him the highlight of his role is the opportunity to provide assistance to customers in helping them achieve recognition through formal qualifications, for skills they've already gained on the job.


Sandy Walsh, Team Leader - Gladstone Customer Service Centre

Sandy WalshSandy has worked in vocational education for 14 years at the Central Queensland Institute of TAFE, mainly at the Gladstone campus. Employed for many years as the Supervisor of the Client Services Centre, Sandy’s major focus has always been making customers happy. She then went on to become the Institute Registered Trainer for ISAS, training staff in Gladstone, Rockhampton and Mackay. More recently, she coordinated, monitored and assessed 67 school and work based business trainees as the Workplace Training Officer. With the team in Gladstone Sandy is looking forward to assisting customers in fulfilling their dreams.
 

Donna Constable, Team Leader - Hervey Bay Customer Service Centre

Donna Constable Prior to joining SSQ, Donna held a role within the Department of State Development as a Senior Business Development Officer. Originally from Orange NSW, Donna's background includes working as a Call Centre Manager with Telstra for 14 years and 4 years experience as a Contract Manager for the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. Donna and her team are looking forward to providing Skilling Solutions Qld's products and services to the community of Hervey Bay.


Ken Schworer, Team Leader - Hyperdome Customer Service Centre

Ken Schworer Kenneth joins Skilling Solutions with ten years experience in Vocational Training through working with Southbank Institute of Technology and Training Queensland in various positions. Kenneth is passionate about Training and seeing people reach their full potential.

 

Amanda Sycz, Team Leader - Ipswich Customer Service Centre

Amanda SyczAmanda comes to Skilling Solutions Queensland from a strong background in Queensland Health. Her role in Health was to provide excellent and timely customer service at an Executive level and she was also appointed to Project Management roles. Her most recent role within Health was to lead and coordinate three core Administrative areas which provided excellent customer service to clients. Throughout her working life Amanda has been in frontline customer service areas and has a passion for helping people to succeed in their endeavours. She believes it is never too late to be what you want to be. She is thrilled to be a part of the dynamic team that is Skilling Solutions Queensland.

Heidi Holt, A/Team Leader - Mackay Customer Service Centre

Heidi Holt

Heidi brings over 20 years in Employment Services and Training Services to her role. The experience in assisting people with their career choices, training options and providing local labour market knowledge enables Heidi to provide information relevant to a broad range of needs. Complimenting this, is Heidi's exposure as a small business owner which enables her to relate effectively to the needs of business and industry.  A strong focus on customer service and genuine interest in assisting others achieve their goals are aspects that Heidi and her team enjoy providing their customers.

Gloria Nicoll, A/Team Leader - Morayfield Customer Service Centre

Gloria Nicoll

Gloria worked for several years at Telecom as a sales representative, customer service officer and staff trainer. She has also worked for many years within the employment industry as manager of Job Network Agencies under Federal Government contracts.During this time Gloria had extensive experience assisting unemployed clients as well as training both staff and job seeker clients.Gloria strongly believes in every person's right to work, develop and study to improve their opportunities in life.Gloria and the team at Morayfield Customer Service Centre are focussed on making a significant difference by providing assistance and support to the people of Caboolture, Pine Rivers, Redcliffe and the Sunshine Coast.


Veronica Cowley, Team Leader - Rockhampton Customer Service Centre

Veronica CowleyVeronica brings to Skilling Solutions Queensland experience and knowledge from working in both the private and public sector. Her last appointment was with The Department of Education Training and the Arts as a Field Officer which heightened her already extensive knowledge from years of working as a Childcare Director and an Apprenticeship Consultant. With this experience, Veronica and her friendly, professional team are looking forward to focusing on the customer as an individual, giving them accurate information relevant to their situation to obtain the best possible outcome.


Debbie Bratchford, A/Team Leader - South Brisbane Customer Service Centre

Debbie Bratchford I have about 30 years experience in the customer service environment. My experience includes owner/operator of my businesses, nursing and flight attendant. Since 2007 I have been with the Department of Education and Training, I have been employed as a senior client service office at the Training Queensland Contact Centre where I also assisted in the establishment of Skilling Solutions Queensland contact centre. My passion is to see a customer satisfied with our service.


Kayne Osborne, A/Team Leader - Southport Customer Service Centre

Kayne Osborne

Kayne has been with Skilling Solutions Queensland for 3.5 years. His experience has been with recruitment, sales and employment services since arriving from New Zealand 12 years ago. Kayne has extensive knowledge of the labour market and community initiatives within the Gold Coast region. Kayne is passionate about working with local business; community groups and helping people achieve their goals.

Wendy Mogg, Team Leader - Toowoomba Customer Service Centre

Wendy MoggWendy Mogg has over 20 years experience in the employment and training sector.  She has worked as a job placement officer, case manager, a project officer within TAFE, and as the manager of a very successful Australian Apprenticeships Centre.  She has a strong knowledge of the labour market in Toowoomba and surrounding districts, having lived and worked in the region for most of her life.  Wendy believes providing quality customer service is the key to success, and ensuring that each customer is treated as an individual.  Wendy leads a team committed to helping people fulfil their potential.

Dave Robinson, Team Leader - Townsville Customer Service Centre

Dave RobinsonDave Robinson commenced his employment with the Department of Employment and Training in 2003. Since his commencement he has performed a number of different roles which has enabled him to gain a good understanding of the VET system. Previous to this he held various positions in the transport sector for over 20 years. High on Dave's list of priorities is quality customer service and one of his favourite sayings is "We are in business for the customer, for without the customer, we have no business". Dave looks forward to being able to help people realise their potential by gaining qualifications for their experience.
